Our Story
In August of last year, John West and Cindy Stiles set foot in Kenya and Africa, embarking on an unforgettable journey. Their safari guide in the Maasai Mara, Ntirra, captivated them with his deep connection to the land and profound knowledge.
Curiosity led John and Cindy to delve into Ntirra’s life, his village, and the challenges faced by Mbitin and Olesere. With gratitude and determination, Ntirra shared his aspirations for a clean water source, education funds, and an end to period poverty for girls.
Recognizing Ntirra’s vision, John and Cindy teamed up with Nashipa Foundation. Swiftly, initial projects took shape – a borehole by local company Blue Tik, sanitary kits sourced from www.mooncatcher.org, and a beekeeping initiative. Ntirra’s leadership shone through a Covid food drive, providing sustenance to thousands.
Ntirra, the founder of Nashipa, found steadfast partners in John and Cindy. Together, they tackled challenges, witnessing fresh water flow
